+1 it's like saying the homeowner is responsible for the death of the burglar who broke into the home and came rushing at the homeowner who shot the burglar. What happened to "stand your ground'?

I will say if you are one of the agents assigned to Pence on Jan 6th your “brothers” sent you to die for Trump. All the senior agents knew what was going to happen and assigned the agents who were not involved in the coup to protect and die with Pence.

If the agents assigned to Pence weren’t in on the coup, why did he refuse to get into the car with them? It seems like Pence knew just enough about what was going to happen that he had to look out for himself.

No one said that. Elements of the USSS seemed to have been willing to look the other way while others did the dirty work of planning and executing a coup.

Before you post nonsense you might want to read the facts. The USSS are hardcore trumpist/conservatives. They knew everything that was planned for the Jan 6th, they actively minimized the threat assessment, the senior level USSS agents held meetings and were in constant contact with proud boy leadership and other conspirators, deleted their texts that were on systems outside US government channels, made sure enough time passed so the text could not be recovered, etc, etc. If you are in a position of power and support a coup all you have to do is do nothing or look the other way at a key time.
