They are peer schools. Similar students apply and enroll.
Depends on which division you graduate from as it pertains to salary and outcomes. It's within a standard deviation. Been said before, let's say again. Emory Nursing and Public Health / STEM better than Georgetown Georgetown SFS and Undergrad B School better than Emory Georgetown Law better than Emory Law B Schools are similarly ranked Med Schools similarly ranked These look like peer schools. Not sure one is better than the other unless you look at specific programs. Time to move on. End thread. |
Based on what??? |
| Emory is more peer of Notre Dame than Georgetown. |
Based on admissions stats, enrollment stats, outcomes and rankings. Are you dense? |
Emory acceptance rate: 20% Georgetown acceptance rate: 11% |
Source? This says 10.6 % for Emory and 12% for Georgetown https://www.collegekickstart.com/blog/item/class-of-2026-admission-results https://emorywheel.com/emory-admits-9-of-regular-decision-applicants/ |
Why lie? |
| I think this thread was started by a high school student. The logic is at about that level. (Though come to think of it, I would think any student admitted to Emory would be a little more sophisticated.) |
I can't find any source that says 20% for Emory. |
To make Georgetown look better. |
Hahaha. |
ND mom is back at it |
But that would be insulting Notre Dame to compare it to Emory. |
Oh please! Emory is more selective than both schools, and more respected globally. ND is actually overrated. |
| Emory is methodist and ND and Georgetown are Catholic. Ergo Emory > ND and Georgetown |
