| Emory is ranked higher on most rankings (USNews WSJ etc) it's acceptance rate is now lower as well (10.6> 12). We also can mention endowment but that might not be fair. |
| I know nothing about Emory. In terms of prestige I don’t see how it would surpass Georgetown. |
| 10.6 is not greater than 12. Here's a tip that might work if you're struggling with greater than/less than signs: remember, the alligator eats the bigger number. |
| No. Never heard of Emory. |
| Ok. |
if you know nothing about Emory, how could you speak on it? |
In this instance lower is better, you understood what I meant. |
| Agree with others. I bet 10 people country-wide have heard of Georgetown for every one who has heard of Emory. I have no dog in this fight as I am not an alum of either and my kids are still in high school. |
I'm not familiar with that meaning. But, ok. |
Lower isn’t better. It just means more applicants. |
That says more about you than anything. |
| So? |
| All that matters is which has passed the other for your student. Both are fine college but different enough to make the choice about which will better serve a particular individual. |
| Ha! Nope. |
More people have heard of both more than Caltech yet which school is more prestigious. More people have heard of u Alabama yet which schools are better. Also the acceptance rate difference means Emory is more popular |
