When did you sign up? |
Mid-July. We didn't hear till about a week before school started. If you are expecting to get in now, its not going to happen but they offered it and you choose not to apply. |
Its not the state's responsibility to provide transportation or drivers. |
Your kid must not be in MCPS as elementary school at least for us had no quizzes, group projects or homework. |

Here’s a ‘standing ovation’ from Moco’s county executive for Dr Mcknights leadership...lol.

Weekend trips to the ER is a very common. The ERs are most likely just jammed due to idiots that show up for Covid testing and other minor ailments. The curve is STILL flat and one day of busy hospitals is not enough reason to shut down schools. |
Mean VA mom takes every opportunity to remind us our choices were wrong. In truth, they were not for our families. Not until recently, when omicron came along with a much higher rate of infection... |
Many of my kid's teachers got covid. That, plus sick kids, plus missing buses made for chaos. 2 weeks virtual would have been fine and helped stem the wave of omicron. No one is suggesting close schools. Now, I agree that it is too late for a couple weeks of virtual to really help. But, kids should have the option to go virtual for the next few weeks to lessen the density and help resolve the omicron wave. |
