I thought the same thing! It's the Olsen mouth.

Exactly!

She doesn’t look older…she looks plastic and odd.

She is still better looking than all of DCUM!

I’ve always envied her body, but I’m worried she’s wrecked her face. I hope it’s just overzealous airbrushing.

Regardless, I feel sorry for her being alone.

Also she isn’t alone. By all accounts she has a fairly large friend group, which includes her ex-husband.
I think it’s overzealous airbrushing/bad contouring. She doesn’t look like that on her instagram page.

She lives alone with dogs.

Maybe that’s what she wants.

I would be lonely. Friends aren’t the same as a spouse and kids.

Maybe her broken family and issues with her parents prompted her to prefer flying solo, but it’s not for me.

I have a spouse and kids but could still wind up alone with my dogs in my 50s. My kids are growing up and will leave. My FIL died suddenly at 58.

Feel sorry for her if you want but learning to be content on your own, and to develop social bonds outside your immediate family, is a valuable skill we should all cultivate. It’s not going to be you and your DH and the kids gathered close around you forever, most likely.

NP - this is so true and something I think about all the time. Right now with a teen and preteen and DH my life is so busy and full. Tons of activities, balancing work, seeing a ton of people all the time between kids' sports, school stuff, etc. but flash forward 15 years I'll probably be retired, kids grown and gone, etc. Jennifer seems to love entertaining, hosting friends, etc. Skills I don't have!

It didn’t become non-experimental until 8 or 9 years later when there was a new freezing technology that dramatically improved success rates. So even with all of that money, it was uncommon at the time and had a much lower likelihood of success.

My heart goes out to her. I know a lot of women like her in their early to mid-50s who tried and couldn’t have kids late 30s/early 40s. The advances with egg freezing make a difference now.

She married Justin when she was 46. She started dating him when she was 43. Seems like she didn't start until her mid-40s. Nothing wrong with that, but the chances of success without donor egg/embryo are slim.

Maybe she tried in late 30’s with JM or another BF. I’m sure she’s had more BF’s that we know nothing about.

Perhaps. In the article she only talks about trying with Justin.

She didn’t actually talk about trying with Justin. She’s careful not to put a date around it or mention any details regarding single or coupled…probably because it’s not true.

Have you noticed that every decade was her best decade? Go pull up an article from another era and read her saying her 30s were her best and then her 40s and now her 50s.

Maybe she should have concentrated on having a family in her 20s instead late 30s and 40s. So stupid

She didn’t want to. Most people don’t want a family in their 20s.

most people are not married to brad Pitt. if you are married to brad Pitt you start popping babies. it's the first law of universe.

I don't think she wanted kids but she knows that saying that will make her unlikeable to a certain portion of her demographic. Better to create sympathy.

This also, for the doubters, suggests that it’s true/true as he knows it as well. I assume she’s trying not to specific which ex she tried with for fear of going down the “if you’d managed to have kids, would Justin/Brad/whoever have left you” road… I don’t think it’s because she’s lying.

They married in 2015 when she was 46. That’s too old to reasonably assume you can get pregnant.

Just because he liked her post doesn’t mean he’s corroborating each and every detail.

There’s a reason she would not share her IVF dates. She’s 53. It was probably somewhat recent.

Didn’t she say late 30’s/40’s? Most likely with Theroux.

"several years ago" whatever that means

Something isn’t adding up. Several years ago she was 50. Also she said she never thought to freeze her eggs? That has to be the biggest crock of sh*t I’ve ever heard. Celebrities have been freezing their eggs for years.

I'm around her age (and did IVF once upon a time). Egg-freezing wasn't really around like it is now (or maybe it was for ultra-rich celebrities and just not mere mortals)

Jennifer Aniston “You have no clue what’s going with me personally, medically, why I can’t … can I have kids?” They don’t know anything, and it was really hurtful and just nasty.

I remember hearing you talk with Gloria Steinem about how it can feel like your value as a woman is tied to your marital status and whether or not you’ve procreated, to which Gloria said …

She said, “I guess we’re in deep shit.” (Laughs.) It’s the same with Dolly Parton; Dolly Parton never had kids. But are people giving her shit for it? No, no one’s tried to put her in a white picket fence.”

*****
Jen is still talking about kids! And states no one criticizes Dolly Parton for not having kids. Perhaps that’s because Dolly has never said she wanted kids or dreams her future on a beach with kids.

If she didn’t want the speculation then she should have stated long ago she can’t have kids. And with her money she could have had a surrogate have her kids. Or just state she never really wanted kids. She just needs to stop talking about it.

This may be her hinting that she’s going to have a child. In Hollywood, planting a seed is very common. Naomi Campbell recently had her first child at 55. Brigitte Nielsen also had a child at 55. Janet Jackson I had a child at 50. Cameron Diaz had a child in her late 40s. I would not be surprised if Jennifer Anderson has a child via IVF and or surrogacy.
