F the Squad.

If you feel so strongly, then move to their districts and vote them out.

Oh no - I believe they’ll be in office for another 15 years. Useless just like Bernie with zero legislation passed to show for it.

I’d rather live in a district where my representative can actually get things done and if they can’t - it’s easy to get someone else in.

Add Bernie to that mix. Take a look at his career accomplishments. Almost ZERO bills he's passed, except for a few garbage items like renaming a post office. Bernie is known for basically being an assh*Le to work with. The squad is similar.

As an immigrant, people like this are the reason I moved over to the republican party. From what I see, the republicans have often had achievements and careers outside politics. They aren’t just complaining adult sized babies who throw tantrums all day that they aren’t allowed to spend even more of someone else’s money. I know not all democrats are that bad, but I just can’t stand the ones who are.

Even the ‘good’ ones like Biden have done nothing with their lives except spend our money. There should be term limits for all politicians so they are forced to work for a living at least some of the time.

Maybe you should look at Biden and his upbringing before you start popping off about things like this.

As an "immigrant" (my family was, as well) the Democrats and labor unions did more for my poor, working class family than any Republican ever did. They allowed my family to move into a somewhat middle class life, retire with pensions, have health care . . . nothing the Republican "trickle down" BS ever did.

Unless you're their constituent, it doesn't really matter what you find unacceptable.

I didn't say it does "matter" - did I?

If you think their constituents are happy with them, think again. AOC started her Congressional career by running a billion-dollar corporations HQ out of her district and she's continuing it by seeking to deny constituents much needed infrastructure aid for their communities. Her and the Squad.

The Squad doesn't get how bad this looks and yes --- more people than you think are not for the BBB 'free everything' bill.

Here's Part 2 of that video from a constituent and he's saying everything I would. The fact that the Squad voted against so many incredible bills and particularly this last one when their districts are laced with lead pipes (Flint, Michigan ring a bell?), failing infrastructure (the NYC subway system was underwater last month), and public housing that is falling apart with bad wiring, plumbing and everything else is disgraceful.

Bernie is a good guy. Too idealistic to be effective and too far to the left before the country was ready for it, but I think voices like Bernie’s were important to have. AOC is shrewdly opportunistic, solely focused on her image and career ambitions. She cares none about the economic prosperity of her constituents.

I agree with all except the last line. I do think she cares about prosperity within her district she is just too arrogant to follow the methods that actually get things done in congress. She probably thinks she can outmaneuver the queen. Newsflash: she can't.

At least when republicans obstruct legislation, they say it's what only their constituents want. It's odd to insist progressives are representing everyone when clearly half the country doesnt want progressive policy.

It’s odd the way extremists like you insist that progressive politics aren’t popular.

“Sixty-three percent of voters in the poll said they supported the $3.5 trillion overall plan that includes spending on health care, long-term care, child care, and clean-energy jobs.” https://www.vox.com/2021/10/15/22723457/build-back-better-poll-democrats-bill-infrastructure-taxes

You can see the media’s abject failure in reporting what’s in the bill though. People don’t feel like they understand what’s in it. It’s almost as if the conservative media that people call “liberal” really, really wants it to fail. https://www.newsweek.com/most-americans-dont-know-much-specifically-about-bidens-build-back-better-plan-poll-1637397

Dem here. You do understand the difference between polls and elections right? The only thing that matters is the vote.

You have that backwards. Are you a new immigrant ?

You realize that AOC actually worked menial jobs, right? Not that I like her. I don't. But, actually, those progressives that you seem to despise had jobs before they went into politics. They know what it's like to start from the bottom. They lived amongst people who struggle.

Many of the Rs actually were born to wealthy families and never held jobs outside of their families' businesses. They got into elite univ. because of their family's wealth.

Most Dem politicians actually didn't come from money. Clintons, Biden, Obama... none of them came from wealthy families.

Bush, Trump -- wealthy families.
