Sorry I know it’s a silly question. Back home. Haven’t been to church in ages. Folks go to the early bird 8AM mass. There’s a Starbucks a block away. Would it be ok to bring in just a small tall cup of coffee? I’m assuming not ok but figured it doesn’t hurt to ask anonymously. |
No, not okay. |
Totally inappropriate. |
No |
I am almost positive I was once in a ritzy non denominational Christian pseudo mega church and they had a super busy coffee shop literally in the church. But I don’t know if people brought coffees into the pews. That was years ago. |
My Catholic Church is casual but I’ve never seen that. Coffee and donuts after church- yes definitely. |
Do the coffee and donuts after generally cost money? Wondering if I should bring cash. I will hold off on my morning coffee until 9AM I guess. |
Hold off until after mass.

Everyone drinks coffee in our nin Catholic church, lol so ridiculous with these rules |
Only at a trashy megachurch |
No, the Catholic Church no longer sells indulgences. |
No. You are there to worship, not to be entertained. |
Wrong thread? Drinking coffee is not generally considered to be "entertainment". |
No. Can’t you drink it before mass or after? |
Of course not. |
