Where's Jim Inhofe, who showed up on the floor of Congress on a February day in 2015, holding a snowball up, claiming that it proves climate change is a "hoax?"
On a day like yesterday, they should be resigning from office:

Good grief, OP.
These temperature swings have happened for centuries. Get over it. |
Tell that to Jim Inhofe and the rest of the cabal, who think a snowball "proves" something. By their own logic, a warm day in late January should also prove something. |

It was 79 degrees in DC in January 1950—the previous record high temp.
The rest of this winter has been very cold, and it will be cold again soon. I’m not a climate change denier, but I do recognize weather patterns can cause blips like this. Sorta like how you can go 700+ days without snow and then have back to back storms like we did a week ago. Anyway, I’m more concerned about whatever is in our food/drinks/environment that is prompting a dramatic uptick in cancer among young people than climate change. YMMV. |

Summer 2023 was cooler and wetter than normal. |

What’s to deny. Earth has been hotter than now and colder than now. Earth does not have a static climate. Do humans impact climate, yes.
Close the southern border. It might help with the temperature.

Geez OP, CO2 levels have changed for centuries. Get over it. As in, geologic time scales of tens and thousands of years.
The extremes that currently exist have never before been seen in the entire history of modern man. What could man and the industrial revolution possibly have anything to do with it?
Everything. |

YOU WIN the award for the utterly stupidest and most irrelevant response of the day! Congratulations! |
In DC. But globally it was the hottest on record. https://climate.nasa.gov/news/3282/nasa-announces-summer-2023-hottest-on-record/ |

After the 1999 Michael Mann "Hockey Stick" graph was maligned by climate deniers for using temperature proxies, a lot of additional data was gathered and additional research was done which yet again confirmed and strengthened that original hockey stick finding, and which indicates that current temperatures are in fact higher than they have been in hundreds of thousands of years and that most of it happened in the last 150 years.

Expect the southern border to get even more inundated by migrants as climate change affects local conditions in Latin America and elsewhere. (https://www.imf.org/en/News/Articles/2023/12/08/cf-how-climate-shocks-are-linked-to-cross-border-migration-in-latin-america-and-the-caribbean) |
Narrators voice: “Jim Inhofe is a happily retired 90 year old.” |

Total hoax. Russia,China and Nordic countries set all time cold December records. Ice density gained in the Antarctic over the last ten years. Deaths by freezing outnumber deaths by warmth 9-1. |
The warmers aren’t going to like this. |
