Prediction for APS tomorrow- Wednesday?

I'm thinking two hour delay for refreeze tonight. Side roads are still rough in Alexandria. What does everyone else think?

Not sure if you're talking about Arlington (APS) or Alexandria (ACPS), but I just drove side roads in Alexandria and they seemed fine. That said, there will likely be a delay or closure tomorrow, since ACPS closes for anything and everything nowadays.

I think there’s going to be some refreeze and expect a 2 hour delay

There will 100% be at least a delay. At 7am, it will be 14 degrees with a wind chill of 7. It will be very icy on sidewalks and roads after refreezing, and I'd be some busses may not start. I'd say at least 50% chance of cancellation, but school on time on Thursday morning.

I'm talking about APS but I live in Alexandria- so referenced the roads there. I just got in from a run and the side roads in Del Ray are NOT fine.

I live in Arlington and my road has not been plowed. Small dead end side road. The bus does not have to come down our road but we need to drive to the bus stop because my child goes to an option school and our stop is 1.5 miles away.

Typing to you from E. Howell. Our street has not been touched. Could I get out in an emergency? Yes. Would I let my 17 yo DS rive on this? Hell no.

I am thinking at least a delay. Sidewalks in my area are slick and icy and there will be refreeze.

Delay is a definite. I think also a decent chance APS is closed. The temps are not going to get above freezing tomorrow. Nothing will melt. Many roads will remain untouched. Things won't be markedly better at 3pm than they are at 9am.

I am guessing a 2 hour delay, but possibly opening on time. Since the precipitation is over, I think a closure is unlikely.
