Be sure to watch that video PP linked to, and keep in mind the man speaking is the same guy who took all those photos/videos on the Loudermilk tour the day before.

For those who can’t watch, it’s footage made by this guy (do we have a name?) who was given a “tour” by Loudermilk on 1/5/21. In the footage, he and a fellow seditionist boast about what they plan to do to Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler and “even you AOC.” His fellow seditionist had sharpened the tip of his American flag into a point and they were planning to use it as a bayonet (based on him miming that).

I’m not personally acquainted enough with the Capitol building for the footage of them on the tour inside the Capitol to mean anything to me beyond the obvious fact that tours were closed at that point. Loudermilk will evidently be going down.

They were absolutely planning on holding the Capitol and murdering various Democrats.

Worse, they have no interest in actually fixing problems the US is facing. They’re enjoying complaining about gas prices and inflation, but they wouldn’t do anything about it.

The GOP is intent on destroying this country, either through a violent overthrow or in a more roundabout way.

The big question for the committee- seems moot to me. They have a team of former federal prosecutors doing the investigation and preparing the evidence for presentation out there in the open. It doesn’t seem likely that an official referral will be necessary.

So far, Trump has not been incommoded by any judicial proceedings stemming from his encouragement of a coup on Jan 6th.

Even though his intent, and the intent of others, is clear to anyone who's not completely biased, the standard of proof is higher in the courts.

So we'll see. None of the higher-ups involved may face any consequences in this world.

The Jan 6 Committee showed that everyone in DC, including all those close to Trump, knew that Biden won the election. So, all those GOP Senators and Congresspeople who voted not to certify the election knew they were attempting to overthrow US democracy.
