SATC New Season - And Just Like That...

Seems like he probably hit on (or worse) some production assistants over the years.

This is so disappointing. I liked his character on the show, knowing this about the actor really changes watching the show for me. I mean, in proportion to the women who suffered this from him, my disappointing experience with the show is worth nothing.

They should have had some episodes about this, in the vein of The Morning Show: That guy you worked with/were married to/were friends with is accused of rape or sexual impropriety and how do you reevaluate the friendship after that? What do you go through and what do you handle things with the man and with your friends? Given all the irl shade they've thrown at Samantha seems like they could have done this with Mr. Big as a character, but they weren't annoyed enough with him IRL to do it I guess. I'd be shocked if someone on the show didn't know about the charges from Beverly Johnson ... SOMEONE must have known about that and would have passed it up the ladder. That would explain why Noth was recently singing SJP's praises in the Kim Cattrall incident about how she had always treated him well and Kim must be high strung or something.

Lots of very funny twitter comments about Peleton deleting the Noth ad, along the lines of "Peleton's gonna have to do another ad - 'just kidding we killed him'" and "Aiden wouldn't have bought a Peleton, that's for sure" and "A Peleton bike went from incidental villain to vengeful hero in just one week" and "Peleton: We kill rapists(TM)." and "The only job worse than working in hospitality or the NHS right now would be working on the PR team at Peleton." Ha!

I couldn't help but wonder: Did anyone on the show know about this?

How would they? Seems no one beyond the victims' inner circles knew. Unless he pulled any crap on them, but seems unlikely since they were in relatively equal or greater positions of power to him.

Just a note that there wasn't much of a functioning internet in 1995 -- not like now, certainly -- when Beverly Johnson sued for a restraining order. This is what an internet search looked like back then:

https://www.businessinsider.com/flashback-this-was-the-internet-in-1995-2013-4

It wasn't easy to search records or stories about people. The tech just wasn't there to have it at your fingertips.

Meh, it’s not my style but it don’t think she looks inappropriate.

The mesh dress with her breasts heaving out was not appropriate for a wedding. Not Charlotte's character at all. The styling is off.

I meant funeral! A funeral that looked like a wedding.

You mean she was a little out of it 12 hours after she found her dead husband and didn’t sleep?

Was this episode really that soon after he died? I had the feeling it had been a few weeks.

The coffee scene was literally the morning after.

Ew. Ew. Ew.

I don’t like insecure Miranda! They are killing her character like they killed Samantha making her menopausal Mary in the 2nd movie.

The morning after the funeral, right? The funeral would have been a bit after he died.

DP. No, it was when Miranda went to Carrie’s apartment the morning after Big died. The dementia theory is one of the stupidest things I have heard. Lots of people keep coffee beans in the freezer so they stay fresher. And the fact that she has having trouble holding onto threads of a conversation the morning after such an incredible shock is completely normal.

The degree of hate watching going on with this show is unhinged.

Even I used to keep my coffee beans in the freezer and I'm not as much of a coffee snob as the average New Yorker, sheesh.
