The hat was stupid. It would have been cool for a Halloween party or an outdoor event of some kind. However, a wide brimmed hat worn indoors on a frigid winter’s day? Not so much. The Trumps are not fashion icons. They have money and can afford lavish gowns etc. but lack the class and elegance to successfully full it off.

This. Ivanka, and the Trumps in general, are not naturally graceful. Audrey Hepburn personified the word...she's in a class by herself.

Ivanka is naturally good looking, so I wish that she'd just lean more into the tacky/kitchy nature of the Trump family. I think it would suit her better.
