Anyone following the scores for Shooting Star Easter Tournament on Tourney Machine? Looks like a lot of the NoVa/DMV teams are doing really well.

How do the pools work? Is it random or based on skill level? Ie Pool A is highest etc.

The top bracket is in theory the top teams. I understand that bracket assignments are at least partially influenced by coach requests and self-seeding.

Shooting Stars Jamboree in Delaware and RCCs in Virginia Beach are both this weekend. That is just dumb. Somebody at USA Field Hockey dropped the ball.

There are not enough weekends in the year or facilities for there to not be a conflict.

There is another RCC in Delaware in May.

Region 7 has RCCs: U!6 - May 17/18 @ Delaware, U14 and U19 - May24/25 @ Troy Park.
