My sons girlfriend literally saved his life he wants to buy her a special meaningful gift, any ideas...

He was thinking maybe some kind of a beautiful necklace with a special saying on it, but he wants to give it to her fairly soon. He wants something meaningful and significant but not in the way that means expensive, he is willing to spend a few hundred (as his budget allows) he does not want to send flowers, or anything like that but something with sone genuine thought as a way to say thank you. I realize it's an unusual gift idea request, any ideas most appreciated.

Wouldn't it be more meaningful if he came up with the idea?

What does she like? Does she wear necklaces? Maybe something "angel" related (guardian angel)?

Sounds like he DID come up with the idea but needs help looking at options. I'm not even sure my thoughtful DH would know where to start looking.

Glad you have never asked for any advice, guidance, or suggestions on anything.

NP here. A really nice gift is sufficient.

My mom has a friend whose husband bought her a pearl choker necklace the day after she saved his life when he was choking on a piece of steak. That’s a couple with a sense of humor!

Nice necklace and throw in a roll of "Life Savers."

If I were her I wouldn't expect anything, and if I did I wouldn't want something tangible instead I would appreciate an experience. A well thought out special day, or weekend.

Also really happy your DS is okay!

Not unless she's into angels.

A bracelet is probably easier to inscribe a message on.
