| My eight year old told me I couldn't shop at Forever 21 since I'm not 21. Of course I didn't pay attention to her statement but do you shop there and your way over the age of 21? I love their tops. |
|
I am 25 and consider myself waaaaaaay beyond their shopping age.
I feel like it's high school, max. Not even 21. |
| I am a 2/4 and can't wear their clothes. They are junior-sized. No hips, no thighs, no butt. Their size 9 was too small for me and I refused to try an 11. Plus, all their pants come up to just above the pubic bone. What grown woman would want to wear that? |
| I'm 30. I shop at Forever 21 for tank tops, jewelry, etc. You have to look carefully but you can find some great stuff for really cheap. |
| I sometimes shop there for tops, but I've tried to limit what I get there. You can find a few nice things if you look. I've been phasing it out of shopping trips though. I'm 31. |
| I'm 32. You have to dig, but they have excellent jewelry sometimes for nothing, and sometimes you can find cute tops there. I have several pairs of $5 earrings from there that get a lot of compliments. |
| For basics it works, like tanks and t-shirts. Most of the stuff is not appropriate for anyone, other than a teenage streetwalker. But maybe 1x a year I stumble across a great find - like last year I found a great lightweight cotton sheath dress that fits me perfectly (granted in a L even tho I am a size 4 in the grown-up world) and costs $25. And I constantly get complemented on it at work, more than some of the high-end dresses I have. |
| I hate their things. Maybe its just me but if I can find something that fits me (and I too am a size 2-4) its trash after one wash. Not worth the $15 I wasted on it to wear once. |

Serious question: who are you women who actually go into this mall shop and are 25 or 30 years old? Are you nannies on the DCUM site by chance? Or are you 30 year old mothers but not living in DC or its suburbs?
I am merely curious, just as I would be if someone posted "Where Can I Buy An Excellent Walker?" and several people responded that they loooove their walker, it has brakes, and they got it thru Medicaid last fall. |
9:41PP. Don't understand your questions. 30 year old mom, live in DC, and procrastinating at work so figured I'd chime in since OP asked. |
31, live in DC, mother of 1, and I sometimes shop there. I used to a lot more until this year, but I will still buy things there and at H&M. |
Same here. I have some tops that I got years ago, and they've actually held up! And I get a ton of compliments on them. |
Just curious why you would post this. Maybe you're just too big for their clothes? |
| I have bought a few fun tops there to wear with jeans and a few dresses (longer) that I wear over a bathing suit type of thing. I also have a necklace from there that I always get compliments on. |
Yes, to be honest, I am somewhat too big and, mainly, built "all wrong" for their clothes. When I was 23, 24, I think I could've fit into the low low low rider pants and skimpy cami B-cup tops. OTOH, when I was 23, I wouldn't have been on DCUM. Like I said, it really is just curiosity, because none of mom friends except 1 could fit into Forever 21 clothes -- we're all about 42-45, and none of us are fat slobs. A couple of us are even thin, but have hips typical of a woman who's had 3 kids. |
