I do wall sits in the morning while I brush my teeth. Started at 1 minute and am now easily at the full 2 minutes while I brush, then stand to spit, and then a second 1-minute wall sit while I swish with fluoride. I can tell my legs are stronger just from this little daily addition. It also helps wake me up on these dark mornings!
Anyone else have little things they’ve added to their day that feel good and have made you a bit stronger? |

I wish I had something as impressive as that, but I do like to fold my clothes downstairs and walk them up a handfull at a time - so not use the basket so I get multiple walks up the stairs. When I walk the dog and she stops to sniff I like to do lunges or squats. Just added calf raises. |
I spend 5 minutes doing exercises every day after my shower -- floor exercises like bridges, "bird dog" (on hands and knees and alternate lifting an arm and opposite leg), toe taps, knee lifts. It really helps my body look nice even if I don't have time for a big workout. |
I do floor exercises while watching TV. Bridge lifts and ab work. |
I have an adjustable sit-stand desk at work, and spend a lot of time on conference calls. I try to get some easy exercises that aren't too distracting in a few times a day. Calf raises, wall sits, or I lower the desk partway for leaning push-ups. |
I have my kids stand on one foot while they brush the first half of their teeth, and then switch to the other. Really helps with balance! I always seem to forget to this myself though. |

I knew someone who put a pull-up bar on his office door and did one pull-up every time he walked under it. |
10 minute core classes on peloton. Super quick but they make a difference. |
Do a squat every time a kid yells "mom" - I saw this in IG and thought it was genius. |
The wall sits are a great idea. I use these to maintain knee stability and ward off recurrence of some patellar tendinitis I’ve had from cycling. Better would be to do them single leg at a time. |
Calf raises on the little ledge of the entrance to my shower as I wait for the water to heat up.
Random Tracey Anderson arm moves while food heats up in the microwave. I never go to the nearest bathroom at work; I go up two flights of stairs. |

Why do you do this after and not before? You are clean and then get back on the floor. |
I'm not consistent but they to do push ups every time I'm waiting for microwave and squats every time I leave the bathroom. |
