Weird little daily exercises that are impactful?

I do bicep curls, triceps, overhead press while I am waiting for something in microwave. I do 12 reps at a time but that could be a few times a day so it def. adds up.

Counter push-ups but I am not consistent. I should tie it to the microwave or something.

My New Year’s resolution was to do a plank every day. I haven’t been perfect, but very consistent and I think it’s made a noticeable difference over time. Everything is just a little more toned up, and I feel stronger

Similarly, I work on balance while brushing my teeth. I use an electric toothbrush with a timer so stand on one foot until the timer tells me to switch sides on my teeth and then also switch the side I'm standing on.

I wish I had something as impressive as that, but I do like to fold my clothes downstairs and walk them up a handfull at a time - so not use the basket so I get multiple walks up the stairs.

When I walk the dog and she stops to sniff I like to do lunges or squats. Just added calf raises.


I do this too when collecting the trash cans from upstairs and consolidating them into the big trash can. Also, when folding my laundry, I fold standing up in the laundry room area and walk handfuls of clothes at a time to my closet/dresser.
