Everything from the early 2000s is coming back around, are tall boots back again? Dress, sweater, and tall boots was my fall uniform for years and I am ready to get back to it. |
They're only ok of they're thigh high and you wear a boxy blazer as a minidress |
Ignore the PP. Tall boots are definitely in, both thigh high and knee high. I personally find knee high boots much more versatile. I'd wear them with a midi length a-line dress in a knit or jersey, with a cardigan or cropped jacket.

I wear knee-high boots on winter regardless of what’s in. I like them. |
I've been wearing tall boots since the mid 90s. They are never not in. They wax and wane in popularity but they are never going to look dated, they are a classic. |

I once owned a pair when I lived in a cold climate
Winters here are mild and I do not need them |
How nice for you! What do you wear with dresses then? |
YES! go forth and wear those tall boots! bonus points if they are over the knee |
NEVER go out of style. Classic. Wear away! |
They're fine, but please, for the love of god, wait until the weather is appropriate. They are not really appropriate for fall around here as it is too warm. Not until November, at the very least. They look ridiculous when the temp is in the 60s or even 50s. |
You should see January in Rome. ![]() |
Taylor Swift has been wearing them all of NYC lately. |
