How did you try to leave?

You can go to a GA team without any problems or approvals to do so. If you want to change ECNL clubs talk with your ECNL Girls director about the process. GL!

It’s never too late and u can ask for the transfer to the new ECNL club. That said this would mean u burn bridges with the current clubs and coaches.

Going to GA is probably the easiest route if you like the team.

If you are really serious about leaving, I would reach up to the coach and/or girls academy director at Alexandria, SYC, NVA, VRSC.
My guess is a few won’t even get back to you but some will. And the “right” club for you will be able to articulate a club philosophy that doesn’t sound like a sales pitch.
There are varied opinions on this forum but you won’t really know what “feels” right until you talk to them.

Did you really try or just talk about it. It’s not that hard to leave.

Working on predictions now. Lot of great games this weekend highlighted by ECNLCUPMANIA on Sunday.
Also looks like FVU has a game on Saturday in Raleigh and then a game on Sunday in Richmond. Thumbs down to the scheduling folks on that.

Updated NOVA Power Rankings

5. Loudoun- tied Alexandria but has a win over McLean
6. McLean - good 1-0 win against VRSC
7. NVA - beat Skyline but not enough to move them up.
8. VRSC - loss to McLean makes voters forget about solid preseason.
9. Alexandria - tied Loudoun. Still not enough data to know their potential.
10. TSJ - long season ahead.

Updated rankings. Not a lot of games but still some movement.

1. Arlington - No Game last week. Game against Courage on Sunday.
2. FVU - No game last week. Game against Courage on Saturday.
3. VDA - No game last week. Game against Charlotte on Saturday.
4. SYC - beat Skyline. Headed to NC this weekend for games against Triangle and Wake. Should be a good test.
5. McLean - No game
6. Loudoun - Two losses last week has them slide down a spot.
7. NVA - No game. Play Loudoun this Saturday. Going to be interesting.
8. Alexandria - beat VRSC 2-1. Lucky start or team on the rise?
9. VRSC - Tough start to the season but should rebound against CDA.
10. TSJ

Updated power rankings after a full slate of games this weekend.
1. Arlington - Beat Courage 3-0. Remains top team in area.
2. VDA - Lost to Richmond but beat Fusion
3. FVU - tie with Wilmington has them move down. -

7. NVA - Hanging on by a thread to 7th place.
8. Alexandria - tough weekend with loses to Wake and Triangle

Updated power rankings after an eventful weekend.

1. Arlington - Draw against VDA but remains top team in area.

3. FVU - Nice win against Beach.
4. SYC - Beat NVA. Could face FVU at WAGS.
5. McLean - win against Alexandria. Travels to NC this week. Will be a big test.
6. Alexandria - lost to McLean but previous win against VRSC.
7. VRSC - Beat Loudoun 4-0 moves them up.
8. Loudoun - Strong early season has been forgotten.

10. TSJ - lost to Skyline

Updates power rankings.

1. Arlington - Another weekend another win.
2. VDA - loss to Beach hurts them but still #2 by the slimmest margin.
3. FVU - great game against Richmond but not quite enough to move them up.
4. McLean - win against a tough Wake team moves them up. Still needs to travel to NC but taking care of business so far.
5. SYC - two losses in Charlotte hurts. Definitely tough to travel and play back to back games but can’t come away with zero points.
6. VRSC - win against TSJ doest move the needle. This is more Alexandria moving back than VRSC moving up.
7. Alexandria - big loss to CISC but bounce back to tie CDA.
8. NVA - previously lost to Loudoun but win against Triangle pushes them past Loudoun.
9. Loudoun - loss to Skyline has them move down.
10. TSJ - loss to VRSC

After a busy week at WAGS we only have 1 change in the rankings. Debated adding some RL teams given success at WAGS but hard to get an accurate assessment given the league as a whole. Will do some more research and maybe do it in the future.

1. Arlington - No game
2. VDA - No game
3. FVU - lost to Azzurri but beat RU Blue RL and Dallas Hornets.
4. SYC - 1-1-1 at WAGS. Only loss to a tough Arlington RL
5. McLean - 3-0 in group play at WAGS but a loss to GFR moves them down.
6. VRSC - 1-0-2 at WAGS. Extremely close to overtaking McLean.
7 Alexandria - 1-1-1 at WAGS. As a new team their ups and downs were expected.
8. NVA - No game
9. Loudoun - No game
10. TSJ - No game

You’re joking right? You’re not the predictor we thought you’d be. Arlington and VDA and have games this weekend. They play in the MA Cup. Good luck to all! I hear there are lots of injuries on both sides.
No one is worrying about the "talent" that came from fvu or nva. Vda and Arlington's invisible beef will be delt with at the bottom of the board this season...
Is anyone worried about Arlington teams being dominant at lower age groups, but fading fast. I am. History and coaching is not on their side. Only CA doesn’t see the trend. Everyone else does.

This has been going for long time. Arlington 08 and 09 were the talk of the town in middle school and now are both mediocre in the recruiting ages.

It’s when bigger and faster from their huge player pool starts to even out.
