Run. And do not look back. Girls side has major implosion written all over it. Only thing that saves is Bethesda is the rumor that Nadir wanted to take over as ECNL Director.

Run… where exactly? That’s the whole problem.

You can find threads on most teams in the area and there is always someone like this saying RUN! There are always people who hate the club you want to join. You should focus on the opportunities your kid would get to achieve what they want. Does your kid want to play D1 soccer, go pro, or just play for fun? Does this particular club give you a platform to achieve those things?

Just remember, it matters most what league they are in. There are sooo many club fanboys and losers that are obsessed with "our club is better" mentality while wearing all the merch...don't listen to them. If your kid is good and is in the right league, the club success doesn't really matter that much...they will stand out and get better opportunities. Focus on the platform and opportunities.

^ agreed. Let’s be honest, BSC hate is huge on this forum but it does provide the best opportunity for college success in the Montgomery County area. MLS Next and ECNL.

Yes some random hater is going to come say they are going to lose ecnl or a new club is coming to take over. They can’t help themselves.

This is not true. Can say with certainty.

She told the girls on Wednesday …

And I forgot to mention...there is usually a common thread between all these losers who just whine about clubs or are completely in love with clubs. It's that their kids aren't very good, and they are left with no options. It's all they have so they either whine about it all day or buy all the merch. If your kid is good...clubs are only a conduit to more opportunities. Use the clubs like they are using your money and child to build their business. My kid has changed clubs 3 times in 5 years and each time it was up. Now he is MLS Next and right where he needs to be for the final steps. Never cared about the clubs, loyalty, or parent's feelings once during that process. I PAY FOR THIS.

Totally agree. I learned this a couple years later than I wish I had, but my kid has changed clubs each of the last two years and is changing again next year. League is a threshold question, then our focus is the coach.

No. She told them she was moving to a younger team. She’d had them for 2 years, as is the BSC policy. She isn’t “out.”

If you are BSC RL, and can’t make NL, you are stuck in MoCo. Any other club at that level is an hour drive to practice. Not everyone can do that.

Yes geography is a problem...that is a tough one to get around.

The BSC “policy” is not really one, ie SC with 2008s (yr 4) and he has all intentions of keeping 2012 (now yr 2).

Ok true. Exceptions are made. Point is she is not leaving BSC. Can’t believe no girls coaching slate yet, and no comments on SY changes or anything else. It’s taking a very long time.

There is no by/sy change for next year. Not really anything to announce on that end.

But dropping 2013s like a hot potato.

Well, tick tock. Two days since boys announcements. Any truth to a shakeup?
