Do I have bad taste in food or is Panera okay?

| I just got a buffalo chicken sandwich from Panera for lunch. All I've ever heard is that Panera is over-priced hospital food but I am shocked at how good this is. Crispy chicken, crispy fried pickles and buffalo sauce on a fresh brioche bun. Is my palate that unsophisticated or is there anyone else out there who has tried Panera recently and agrees with me? |

Panera is fine for a quick sandwich or salad. It's fast food.

| I think there's a lot of goodness in panera. Nothing is freshly made or anything, but there are some items that are decent. Wouldn't turn my nose up at it. |

| Panera has been almost as successful as Chick-fil-A at convincing the public that their food is healthier than McDonald's, though. Props to them on that. |

French onion soup All the flatbread pizzas 4 sandwiches Sourdough bread & a few other breads Blueberry, chocolate chip, & sesame bagels A bunch of drinks and desserts |

| I've always liked their "you pick two" when you want a l'il salad and a l'il sandwich. More places should do half sizes. |

| Interesting. I’ve never tried Panera because they always seemed a bit meh to look at, like not fast food and not fast casual either. Seemed like it had to be bad and/or overpriced. Maybe I judged unfairly! |
