The ones I have now are good but they're so old that I can't recall what brand they are, and they don't say anywhere on them. |
Birkenstocks (traditional or foam bed)
I have very very high arches and problematic feet (former dancer) and plantar fasciitis in my right foot, and the Gizeh Birks work well for me. Aetrex is also amazing but generally I find them ugly. The Maui and Fiji flip flops seem fine: https://www.aetrex.com/ https://www.aetrex.com/womens-fiji-flips-black-L7000W.html |
I like Clark's Cloudsteppers. My 80 year old mom has the same pair I do, though, so that's a call you have to make. https://www.dsw.com/en/us/product/clarks-cloudsteppers-sunmaze-sky-sandal/542572?activeColor=280&cm_mmc=CSE-_-GPS-_-G_LIA_Shopping_Sandals-_-LIA_Sandals&cadevice=c&gclid=Cj0KCQjwuZGnBhD1ARIsACxbAVjCfHQy6ZtoXSO3qpVSU32N8cRKdWd96S8FfE6ZfR4WPQSQvxY8pNoaAp11EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Taos also makes shoes / sandals with great arch support. I have many pairs of their canvas sneakers because they are awesome. Lots of sandals as well, but I haven't looked specifically for flip flops. https://taosfootwear.com/products/lola?color=Steel%20Leather |

Hokas are amazingly supportive - I have the flip flops and slides. Fitflops are good too and have more style options.
I have plantar fasciitis, neuromas and arthritis, Hoka is the best brand I have ever worn. |
Vionics |
Olukai Ho'opio - swear by them and I have very high arches.

Archies!
I love mine-I've had them for 3 summers now and they are still in great shape. They fit tightly to the foot so don't flop around and are very supportive. |
Archies. I know they advertise all over Facebook, and that can be a red flag, but I got mine at a comfort shoe store (not in DMV) for our trip to the Caribbean last summer. I have been wearing them ever since. I like that they don’t look like orthopedic shoes like some of the other arch support flip-flops do.
I love my real leather Birkenstocks (been wearing them since 1990 when you had to buy them in college towns) but their plastic version doesn’t feel good on my feet. |
OluKai Ohanas are the best and most supportive flip flops I’ve ever worn. They also last forever.
Fit Flop has dressier flip flop style sandals that are cute and very supportive. Crocs flip flops are supportive and very comfortable. |
I think I may be you! I literally had to check to ensure I didn't write the first sentence. Thanks for the Aetrex heads up. Never heard of them. What other shoes work for you? |
