This is incredible, as most other places are seeing increased crime. |
| source? |
|
This according to Florida’s “Uniform Crime Report”. OP |
Incredible, right? They’re obviously doing something right. For starters, they probably didn’t defund the police. |
|
Can you trust any numbers coming out of Florida after their underreporting of Covid numbers?
Also, the # on that report are crap: https://www.themarshallproject.org/2023/06/20/desantis-florida-crime-rate-incomplete-data |
|
It's sad that you can't trust any data that comes out of Florida.
Also, you have to have residents and tourists to create crime. Tourists aren't visiting and many LGBTQ residents are leaving. July 2021 - July 2022 saw more people moving to FL than out of FL. I suspect the July 2022 - July 2023 data will be the opposite. |
| Yeah, well, lots and lots of WOW with respect to FL these days... |
LOL, OP needs a better news source, ie, not Desantis' admin.
This goes back to their covid reporting -- if we don't report, the numbers don't look so bad.
Foolish, gullible, OP. I know I know.. you didn't lie, you just didn't know the truth (still love that line). |
| In case OP comes back: "More than 40% of Florida's population was excluded in state crime data" |
| And yet leprosy is at an all time high so pick your poison I guess |
|
You people are so raging mad that Florida is doing so well. Suck it.
While school violence can certainly happen in any state, it isn’t a regular occurrence in Florida as it is in Montgomery and Fairfax counties. It’s a damn shame when students have no expectation of basic safety in your public schools. Safety should be the #1 concern of any school. Your schools need to reconsider their priorities. Your school board and administrators are doing nothing effective to curb the violence in schools. RJ isn’t much doing anything to reduce the violence. |
| Convicted criminals in Florida get consequences. Of course they should go wherever police have been defunded, and they get lots of chances to reoffend. They ain’t as stupid as you think. |
You suspect wrong. |
? You clearly didn't read the posts here. FL numbers are half truths. Rs are good at telling those. Read through the posts. FL is telling lies. And it's ironic that you speak of school safety and FL given how FL saw a horrible mass school shooting not that log ago. School fights have been happening since forever, and it doesn't usually end up with dozens of children shot dead. If you are so concerned about school safety, you should be advocating for stricter gun control, not looser ones where any 18 yr old can buy an assault rifle in FL. https://wusfnews.wusf.usf.edu/politics-issues/2023-03-13/lawmakers-move-forward-lowering-age-buy-rifles-florida-18 |
You are as stupid as we think. Read the article a PP posted. |
