I heard the results they haven't updated weren't bad.

Yes, this is PAC. PAC has teams playing in LMVSC's place in the 2009 boys and 2007 girls. It would be great when the club decides to update the scores as it appears CCL has been catching some heat base on their disclaimer on their website now that puts the blame on the home team club not entering scores.

07 girls, too? Didn't know that.

Strange that CCL lists that team as LMVSC, even with an LMVSC coach. That'll mess up YouthSoccerRankings, that's for sure.

Rumor has it they’re taking LMVSC’s spot next season.

PAC? Nowhere near enough teams.

Nowhere near enough teams? LMVSC is missing:
02 boys, 02 girls, 03 girls, 04 boys, 04 girls, 05 boys, 06 girls, 07 girls, 08 girls, 09 boys, and I think 11 and 12 girls

Not sure “not enough teams” is a problem for CCL

PAC's complete list of teams (aside from the two playing in the LMVSC slot) is here: http://www.ncsl-soccer.com/_element_display/#%2F80738%2Fteams%2Fclub%2F60577575.html%3Frnd%3D1603303630706

They actually have more D1 teams than they used to, which is probably half natural fluctuation and half a function of clubs running to EDP and elsewhere.

Why does LMVSC have teams in nearly every age group in NCSL? Most of them are "White," so you'd have to think the "Red" is in CCL, right? http://www.ncsl-soccer.com/_element_display/#%2F80738%2Fteams%2Fclub%2F15599452.html%3Frnd%3D1603304032054

I'll recommend PAC's coaches to anyone. They don't have the infrastructure to go CCL.

virtually all of the ncsl teams are not in div 1, and, they are struggling

07 Navy Boys are division 1.
I heard they are bringing a few really goods kids up from their 07 white team and they think they will be a to 5 team in the state next year at u15.
My ds is a u15 with pac this year. We are a decent team but not as good as the 07 team.

PAC has earned the right to take LMVSC’s CCL spot.

I don't think the interest is there to move to CCL full scale.

Pretty sure that will tip the scales as CCL was on the fence and monitoring this board's sentiment as a way to make its final decision.

How is CCL relevant again? In a year or two most clubs will have jumped to EDP. Only Arlington and Loudoun are keeping CCL afloat but that will end soon
Anonymous
Yeah I Know PAC has no intention of making the jump.

They have a very small girls program, and they don't have the staff to pull off CCL.

Really cool that a couple of teams are getting the opportunity to play in CCL this year, though NCSL D1 isn't bad, either.

Yeah, the PAC teams who are playing CCL - they were really worried about CCL being out of their league but they are doing fine and really enjoying the challenge and experience. I can’t imagine those two teams going back to NCSL next year - maybe EDP. It’s not great for them to play CCL as a guest team since it looks like (according to the rankings) that they aren’t playing this year.

don't expect LMVSC to be in CCL next year; they might, but please don't expect it. more players will leave from both the boys and girls. LMVSC will absolutely still have missing teams for other clubs to fill, but it's plausible they won't be in CCL.

I hope they rebound post-COVID.

The big difference between LMVSC and PAC is that PAC is where it wants to be. It's not designed to be a big club. The cozy atmosphere is actually one of its selling points. They can have all their U9s through U12s training at the same time, and the older kids can inspire the younger kids.

Maybe if they get some teams in EDP or filling in for LMVSC, they can keep more of the players who typically head off to Arlington or Braddock Road.

They're never going to be a monolith with four teams in each age group, but it'll be nice if they have a competitive Navy team (Gold for girls) in each most age groups and a decent White team, at least at the earlier ages.

we have literally less than half of the players here since the coaching change. we have asked to go back to being an NCSL club. PAC may be where they want to be, but LB put LMVSC in a place where she thinks we should be without listening to us. there's a reason why we forfeit Beach FC.

When you say "we," you mean LMVSC, right?

PAC is fielding fewer teams this fall than it has in past seasons, but given COVID and the lack of a rec program to draw from, I don't think that's surprising or alarming.

yes, "we" is "LMVSC". our rec program is also really down. it's not COVID, though, it's what LB is doing to us.

LMVSC should focus on rebuilding instead of trying to belong in a league they have no business being in. They should be more like a PAC or even to rebuild like Sterling did. Even in the groups where there are two teams, at best it’s 36 players max and they are competing against teams who select their top players out of 60-80 players. Those top teams are going to struggle to compete this year and in future years. They really need to leave ccl. I think membership would be much happier in a place where their children can compete in.

CCL costs more money than NCSL, therefore, they can charge members more money. Think it's not true? Ask LB how they pay their coaches. I'm assuming "years coaching, years with club, what license, what league" all go into the determining factors.

LB would want me to coach a team, I'm a parent and that's apparently why we pay her so much money.

Lee, again, please stop feeding the trolls. This board will die like it should have months ago because there's been no new information. You're out TD, please, just stop.
