The “pros” did such a great job in Iraq. We must listen to our betters. |
The funny thing is that as recently as thirty years ago, anyone from the former USSR space was a "Russian" in America. I remember it took special pains to explain to people that there were such things as Armenians, Tajiks, Ukrainians, Uzbeks etc. I mean people nodded and all, but you could see it was all casse-tete chinoise to them. Very funny to remember that in the context of the current chest-beating of "they are Ukrainians! not Russians!" , as if anyone in America could tell them apart. |
And now DCUM intones with such seriousness - people must not invade sovereign countries! It's just not done! |
So we shouldn't be telling Ukraine that they can't invade Russia and take Belgorad? |
You can thank Putin for that. He's been beating the anti-West drum for the last 20 years, turning Russians against us, whereas we've not seen nearly as much of that from people of the other former SSRs. |
|
My my... the pro-Russia DCUM faction is having some cope issues this morning, and is trying to lash out.
Slava Ukraini. |
Wait, did you just admit the U.S. is telling Ukraine what to do? Good to know. |
He was perfectly friendly to the West twenty years ago. I assure you he did not begin his career from an anti-West place. If I asked you to name all fifteen of the SSRs, would you be able to, without googling? No? Here's your answer. |

Zelensky should realize that at the end of the day the US isn’t going to sacrifice New York for Kyiv, Los Angeles for Odesa, Chicago for Kherson, etc. We’ll hit a limit on what aid we provide.
I think the nuclear threat remains under-appreciated, and I fear Putin will have no qualms about launching an attack if he finds himself in a no-win situation. Ukraine be damned. The Russian people be damned. The world be damned. |
Oh, c’mon. We’ve been feeding Ukraine intelligence, strategy, weapons, and equipment from nearly since the invasion’s beginning. It’s the only reason they’ve been able to fend off Russia. |
He'll always have Belarus. Why do you think they poisoned Lukashenko? |
Oh you got me. Our super secret DCUM cabal is orchestrating the whole thing. It's almost as if the very public restrictions on the use of US weaponry aren't public. |
We haven't been telling Ukraine what to do, except for certain limitations on using weapons like HIMARS (and now F-16s) on targets within Russia. We share intelligence and training, but that's giving information, not orders. |
Suuuure. |
LOL, he was a KGB agent in Berlin. You have no idea what you are talking about. He has been beating the 're-create the USSR" drum for his entire career. |
