I didn't get crazy in love from that interview. He spoke to her like a very annoyed parent speaks to their kid. They seemed to have different goals in that interview too- they were not a couple who was in step together. She wanted to yell at them and he wanted to engage with them.

Yup, politics. They're all on the same side of the aisle.

That's not politics. That's how our laws work.

For some, including Hollywood elites and NM politicians (D).

You realize that the last Republican president broke election law in conspiracy with Michael Cohen and Cohen went to jail for it and so far nothing from the criminal in chief? Not even getting into the corruption throughout the GOP and the 1/6 crimes.
One party is a nest of criminal activity, corruption, and lying and it’s the Republicans.

Daily Mail is getting all the Baldwin propaganda first:

Wait!!!! We missed the Baldwins Sunday morning coffee run photos! And of course, no outing would be complete without Alec’s requisite photo of him looking distraught with his hands rubbing his face.

“I brought [Alec] up here because we have to mourn Halyna’s death,” she said. “Alec had a really traumatic thing happen, and I am trying to limit the PTSD.”

“He needs space for me to take care of him and his mental health,” she said. “It’s an awful thing that happened. Alec feels awful.”

They do not have to be out. They can send people to get things fir them, so why are they out when they know their photo will be taken? Because they want their photo taken!

This reminds me of Daily Mail taking Ivanka’s photo every day when she left her house. That photographer could not have been there without secret service permission so obviously Ivanka wanted her photo taken. And she would wave at the photographer and/or look right at the camera as she got into the government car. Eye rolls all around.

NP. I watched the video with my husband. He thought AB was snapping at a paparazzo. It didn't sound like how you talk to a spouse. And he kept talking to her like that. It must be a very tense household, even before the shooting death. And HB comes across as shrill and angry. Being married to her makes him look less sympathetic.

I feel really bad for those six kids. I am not concern trolling. I think they are likely taking the brunt of their parents' stress.

Why did he talk to the press in an impromptu conference on the side of the road? It makes him seem more out of control, and everything he says can be used against him (I can't believe he started talking about the slim chance of on set accidents - that means he has some idea of the risk and maybe minimized them, it opens him to more questions, etc.). His lawyers must be flipping out.

Way to read the room, Baldwinitos.

Do not come out of your vacation mansion. Let your social media accounts go dark.

When my elderly parent died, I spent the early days upset and sad and was too focused upon a million details like travel and funeral arrangements to actually leave my house. I recall DH carrying the load of childcare, meal prep, errands…all so I could get myself together and help my surviving parent.

This is all theatre. All bullshit.

I am, however, loving the missteps and gaffes.

I question their decision to stop at all but I don’t know what it’s like to be followed around by media (much less with my kids in the car) so I don’t know— maybe stopping made more sense. But Baldwin didn’t really say anything of note beyond saying he’s participating in the investigation, she was his friend, and her family is devastated.

I also don’t think he snapped at his wife and, as a happily married person, I didn’t find that dynamic that notable. Yes, Hilario/Hillary was trying to insert herself and he brushed her off, but their interactions with each other weren’t hostile and he didn’t really seem annoyed with her. I found her annoying but I always do. They really seemed on the same side if not on the exact same page.

The fact that she still does her fake accent even in that situation is AMAZING to me. Like I just cannot believe she is still keeping this up after being outed. Crazy. But she did seem genuine (to the degree she can) in her comments.

Look, most celebrities and especially professional performers don’t have personalities the average person would enjoy. I’ve spent time around many of them for work and they are usually these weird bundles of charisma, ego, vulnerability, insecurity, and confidence. It’s hard to describe. You find yourself drawn to them but also sort of afraid almost, like they are unstable elements. Actors in particular tend to be people who feel things very deeply AND are really self absorbed. None of what AB is doing is out of line for like your average celebrity actor. Given what I know about him, I think he’s probably handling it as well as he is capable. It’s a terrible situation. I’d be dealing with that for the rest of my life. I can’t imagine.

I think the word you were searching for is narcissist.

They make it look like media was chasing them down off the road. So pathetic.

The Baldwins cannot stay away from cameras — no shame.

Yes that clip was very telling. His objective was obviously to talk to reporters. Poor impulse control, and probably on anti-depressants. His wife's true nature was also revealed.

While I don't think he needs to be shuttered inside this was simply poor judgement to decide to be out and about.

That was obviously staged. This is their version of “damage control”. I hope they lose all their money, they are making a mockery of a very tragic event.

It sounded like the latter. If so, why was he aiming the gun at her? Was there some joking around that was going on?

No, he wasn't joking around with the gun.

He does have a history of narcissistic recklessness.

This has all been hashed out over the past week. He was working, doing his job.

Someone else wasn't.

Wasn't it his production company? He didn't just have a vanity producer credit. So he might be liable for criminal negligence. He had crewmembers walk off set the week before due to unsafe working conditions. He will end up in civil court and will be sued. So he was ultimately responsible and he wasn't doing his job.

Agree, his lawyers must be losing it. There were several things said in that interview that could come back and bite him in the ass. Especially in a civil case.

Arrogance will be his downfall. What kind of fool stages a roadside presser while under investigation for murder and/or involuntary manslaughter? There is zero chance his attorneys advised or approved that. Add that to the constant papping and incessant need to keep the public apprised of both their location and family activity and he and his foolish wife deserve everything coming to them. Gross.
