We went to night 3 at MetLife. Paid face value (whatever that means) during the ticketmaster verified fan presale. The only tickets we could get were vip $505 tickets - came out to close to $600 after fees/taxes. We were in the lower bowl close to the stage.
After being stoked about the show it kind of fell flat. It was more like seeing a Broadway show. After seeing her previous tours which were much more personable and somewhat unique. This one just felt factory and cold. It was a great technical show and she sounded amazing but everything was so fake/planned. I understand the kind of schedule and planning they need to keep but down to faces and reactions. The clapping and cheering after champagne problems - went on forever and her reaction was the exact same down to the faces, words mouthed as the previous two nights. It takes away from the organic moments that used to be in concerts, hers specifically. Barely had any song intros/speaking and for those of who have been to a Tay show you know this girl loves a speech. She didn't even intro the surprise songs just went right in back to back. Her energy was off/low the second half of the show. And it was noticeable and palpable. All over Twitter, reddit, fb pages. She's just going through the steps. Again she sounded amazing and the technical/stage aspect was impressive but the genuine, cute moments are mostly not there and if anything contrived and forced. It was her most distant show. For the price we paid, I don't regret it. But I do think they were overpriced even at face value. We also never received our vip boxes. Favorite part of the show was fearless era- it was very sweet to see her perform those songs as an adult. And watch her do the same spin/dance as she did all those years before. Heart hands forever. |

Who plays welcome to NY on night 3. Night 3. You're leaving babe. Also this is NJ..we could have gotten haunted, Cornelia street, literally anything else. That song choice felt like such a throwaway. Especially because she's performed it live so many times before. And then our second song was a repeat. Both from 1989.
Merch was a disaster. Absolutely nothing left for night 3. |

I bet her other tours were equally choreographed but it was less noticeable because fans couldn’t watch earlier shows on TikTok or instagram.
From the videos I’ve seen, a good amount of her talking is the same from show to show. I thought her and Phoebe talked on night 3 about it being Phoebe’s last stop, so at least one part was unique. |
I've went to multiple rep shows and 2 speak now shows. They were slightly different and at least one "speech" was improvised I agree watching all the TikTok content didn't help. So much Era's content out there. So weird and off brand for Taylor to close her shows with Ice Spice in NY. We didn't get the full karma song, and ICE shares the stage and she closes and waves goodbye. |
| Wow, that is completely opposite of my experience in Philadelphia! It was one of the most incredible shows I’ve seen, and I’m not sure what will be able to beat it in the future! Yes merch lines were long, but everybody knew that you had to get their hours before. She did plenty of talking to the audience, and it was personalized as it was Mother’s Day. |

Same. Amazing as a Mom, and my teen was in tears (of joy) and being so near her Idol |
Yikes still waiting on our VIP boxes for an upcoming show. That's annoying that you never received it! |
| Atlanta was incredible - we were there on night 2, had some impromptu speeches as we had technical difficulties a couple of times and maybe since it was a bit earlier on in the tour I hadn’t spoiled it for myself as much yet. Secret songs were great (High Infidelity and Gorgeous). Would have loved to get some of the NJ songs!!!! Clean, Getaway Car, Maroon… |

This is partly why I was so surprised Sunday night. I even told my DH grab the phone when she's being long winded because she loves to chat. Besides the cute moment between her and Phoebe it was the usual script before the man and 2 pandemic references.
It felt super low energy the second half. I thought I was crazy until I looked at reddit and Twitter. Glad y'all had a nice mother's day show To clarify - I'd never complain about a long merch long. I do hate the fact that each night doesn't have designated merch. Between the public sale on Thursday and nights 1 and 2 there was literally no tour exclusive merch left even at early vip merch booths. |
There’s no excuse for that. Especially given how much money is made off of the merch compared to what it costs to make it. |
+1 yes, we were night 2 in Philadelphia and it was beyond words |

We went to the first night in Nashville. Nothing beats that. But like others have said you really need to know the merch situation before going in -- don't be first or last and 4 hr wait is common.
NJ got some great songs and it is getting great reviews. We had friends at every night and they are still buzzing about it. But if you go in thinking that Taylor is doing the same type of tour as before... I mean I don't know what to say. I have been lucky enough to see her at small venues and shows since 2006. Yes she has evolved and each tour has been an evolution. She is so much more mature and Eras reflects that. She gives her fans everything at these shows. What more could you ask for? |

We actually loved the show in NJ N3. I do think that if you watched clips from earlier shows, that was a mistake because it wasn’t new.
I totally agree about the merchandise lines. They went on and on but fortunately we went there first and it moved quickly but they were out of sizes and some items. Getting out of the parking lot was a true disaster. |
You must be one of the people who also thinks that Beyonce magically drops an album overnight. There is so much planning that goes into these tours and Taylor's marketing department is about 10 steps ahead of you. She does limited tour. Pent up demand and then floods the market after the tour. I mean if you look at Bruce Springsteen's 2023 tour he starts before her, ends after her and goes international. Her team knows exactly what they are doing. |
