We went to night 3 at MetLife. Paid face value (whatever that means) during the ticketmaster verified fan presale. The only tickets we could get were vip $505 tickets - came out to close to $600 after fees/taxes. We were in the lower bowl close to the stage. After being stoked about the show it kind of fell flat. It was more like seeing a Broadway show. After seeing her previous tours which were much more personable and somewhat unique. This one just felt factory and cold. It was a great technical show and she sounded amazing but everything was so fake/planned. I understand the kind of schedule and planning they need to keep but down to faces and reactions. The clapping and cheering after champagne problems - went on forever and her reaction was the exact same down to the faces, words mouthed as the previous two nights. It takes away from the organic moments that used to be in concerts, hers specifically. Barely had any song intros/speaking and for those of who have been to a Tay show you know this girl loves a speech. She didn't even intro the surprise songs just went right in back to back. Her energy was off/low the second half of the show. And it was noticeable and palpable. All over Twitter, reddit, fb pages. She's just going through the steps. Again she sounded amazing and the technical/stage aspect was impressive but the genuine, cute moments are mostly not there and if anything contrived and forced. It was her most distant show. For the price we paid, I don't regret it. But I do think they were overpriced even at face value. We also never received our vip boxes. Favorite part of the show was fearless era- it was very sweet to see her perform those songs as an adult. And watch her do the same spin/dance as she did all those years before. Heart hands forever.
Yikes still waiting on our VIP boxes for an upcoming show. That's annoying that you never received it!
