This is partly why I was so surprised Sunday night. I even told my DH grab the phone when she's being long winded because she loves to chat. Besides the cute moment between her and Phoebe it was the usual script before the man and 2 pandemic references. It felt super low energy the second half. I thought I was crazy until I looked at reddit and Twitter. Glad y'all had a nice mother's day show To clarify - I'd never complain about a long merch long. I do hate the fact that each night doesn't have designated merch. Between the public sale on Thursday and nights 1 and 2 there was literally no tour exclusive merch left even at early vip merch booths.
There’s no excuse for that. Especially given how much money is made off of the merch compared to what it costs to make it.
You must be one of the people who also thinks that Beyonce magically drops an album overnight. There is so much planning that goes into these tours and Taylor's marketing department is about 10 steps ahead of you. She does limited tour. Pent up demand and then floods the market after the tour. I mean if you look at Bruce Springsteen's 2023 tour he starts before her, ends after her and goes international. Her team knows exactly what they are doing.
