Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) is retiring

Who do you think will run? McConnell is probably begging Hogan right now for the Republicans, but which Democrats will get in?
Anonymous
I don’t know for sure but I know a lot of people who voted for Hogan to bring balance and moderation to the state government would never vote for an R into the Senate to tip the scales over to Mitch McConnell.

The people who voted for Hogan to rein in some of the excessive spending in Annapolis will balk at the idea of sending an R-MD to the Senate to take away women’s reproductive freedom.

Alsobrooks would be the easy favorite.
Trone has the money to be competitive.

People on twitter are saying Raskin, but I just dont see it.

I'm all for Alsobrooks.

Wes Moore also owes her. His endorsement is going to carry a lot of weight.

Raskin and Trone are going to fight each other tooth and nail over it.

I want Alsobrooks over both.

Alsobrooks would win a plurality vs raskin and trone

Alsobrooks lost her House primary, why does everyone think she’ll win a Senate primary?

Now that's funny.

We are talking about the United States senate here.

Even MD state senate would be a tough one for him.

Not the OP of the comment, but I would support this. Anything to the get the guy out of Montgomery County. He needs to be the country's problem and not the county's problem. We can't take his antics anymore.
