All the deaths are just people who die of other conditions; they just happen to have covid at the time. So, if a person who dies with covid had high cholesterol, or diabetes, or kidney disease, or asthma...he thinks that the deaths are directly related to those underlying conditions and not covid itself.
Somehow, we managed to get him to at least take the J&J vaccine.
Thankfully, since he himself is type 2 diabetic.

Interestingly and anecdotally, I read a doctor on Twitter who said that omicron is super charging people’s underlying conditions. Like diabetics with runaway blood sugar, for example. Whatever their underlying condition is (are), it’s running to a severe, almost uncontrollable version of it because of the damage the virus does in the body.

That happened to someone I know - not from omicron but earlier variants. It's just completely wrecked all the systems in her body.

Yesterday it was, officially, 2,756 people, about 95% of whom will be unvaccinated.
