Well you Dem This Stops Trump in Fairyland voters won. Nice to see how gracious you are in victory.

Look forward to your updates on how House Investigations are stopping him. Like, he doesn't GAF about rule of law so why will that "teach him a lesson"?

You got played but your dopamines are flowing so YOU DON'T GAF EITHER, right?

Congrats. Votes have consequences enjoy them.

+1 This state is total trash.

Yep. Democracy in Virginia died in broad daylight.

So support a national gerrymandering ban. If you don't, it is just hypocrisy.

Meanwhile people in DC do not have any congressional representation so... Shrug.

I do support one. I’m disgusted. The only good that came out of this is that Dems have come out of the closet proving themselves to be mirrors of MAGA. The is no denying it anymore. NONE. What we share in common is a disdain for Trump. Where we part is autonomy for the people. They don’t like Trump because they don’t like his brand of authoritarianism. They are ok with it as long as it is theirs.

That's a bizarre framing of the issue. If Republicans are going to continue playing dirty, Democrats need to play by the same rules to remain competitive. That's all there is to it. You'd really rather Trump and his Republican enablers run roughshod over the country while Democrats sit on their hands tut-tutting?

Non-retiring GOP Congressman who’s in charge of keeping the House in the midterms refuses to say that this was a bad idea.

Rare for democracy to die via referendum. Unprecedented even.

It usually dies in gerrymandered state houses.

The VA General Assembly districts aren’t being changed, just the districts for the US House of Representatives.

I was referring to Texas, NC, Ohio et al

Oh please. The MAGA hand wringing is absurd. Trump’s nominees literally will not admit in their confirmation hearings that Trump lost the 2020 election. The level of insanity from MAGA cannot be understated and their willingness to lie and cheat to hold power is unprecedented.

I didn't really come back to this thread after the first couple of pages, because it spun out of control.

But goddamn am I thrilled. I'm so disgusted with MAGA sending false flyers to Virginians, with false information, and the incredibly sleazy tactics to spread false information.

I'm so, so, so happy this passed. Great job Virginia for showing up to the polls despite Republican lies.

F MAGA and F Republicans.

Thank you for voting the right way and for starting the thread! And for good measure, the lies you pointed out in your OP probably backfired.

You got played but your dopamines are flowing so YOU DON'T GAF EITHER, right?

Congrats. Votes have consequences enjoy them.

The investigations won't stop him...but they'll take attention away from the topics he'd rather talk about. Which will presumably be his executive orders, since he'll no longer be able to sign any bills without support from Democrats.

Looking forward to these four GOP House Republicans enjoying them.

Fellas, is it democracy dying when voters democratically vote on referendums?

So slavery is ok if we vote

Slavery is prohibited by our Constitution. I thought Republicans loved the Constitution? Shouldn't you know that?

They also think that slavery was not so bad…
