| Never been to San Diego but have heard of surf. However not heard of Rancho Cucamonga Soccer Club. Some clubs are known entities with long track records and loyal followings those are not things you say when you read GA list of clubs. Common knowledge in soccer community. |
You could say the same thing about anywhere. Doesn't mean anything. |

Lists of clubs clearly one league has monopoly
https://girlsacademyleague.com/members/ https://theecnl.com/sports/2023/7/6/directory.aspx Also believe that 4 NWSL teams youth academies are in the ECNL. Racing Louisville, Courage, Utah Royals and Portland. Cannot deny the difference and history of the clubs in one league vs the other. Only a fool would argue that the leagues are on equal footing. |
How many of those academies have attracted top players or won nationals? When NWSL finally creates homegrown rule, those clubs will all shift to GA. |
The history is that ECNL was there to catch the DA clubs. |
|
Again missing the point. Argument is which league has the top clubs. It’s a clear division. What happens in 4-5 years anyone knows. For the next couple years ECNL players will fill more college and national team rosters.
McLean and Loudoun do nothing to change the quality of either league. Bold prediction if they maintain their current squads they will dominate in the GA league. That is all you need to know about state of both leagues. |
would say both leagues have top clubs depending on location. But will see who is top club from what league in Jeff Cup!! |
| It's 1PM EST. Where is the next BOOM!!!! |
Thank you for your input ECNL hat but things are changing. You keep living in the past. |
| western Washington surf to GA |
|
I thought today was NVA announcement... who is Western Washington Surf?
GAME CHANGER! GA WINNING |
seattle. GA picking the rock bottom clubs. bless their heart |
That is already a brutal, low level conference for the GA. Yikes |
| Guess it's just about trying to get more numbers now than ECNL! |
Total game changer! |
