Again who cares. Look at the clubs in the two leagues right now on Girls side. ECNL has 98% of the top girls clubs with an exception of a small small few. Never even heard of most of the GA Clubs. It is a clear second tier now and will be in short term next 3-5 years. Will that change possibly, sure? Took 15 years for ECNL to get to this point. McLean and Loudoun big local names but not elite clubs nationally the last 5 years. Those are mid tier ECNL clubs. Not hating on GA but it is clearly second. MLS academies and MLS Next clearly tops on boys side.
You can put your trust in two clubs who both wanted to stay in the ECNL common knowledge selling you on the new idea and one of those clubs been grasping at straws for last several years. VDA has emerged as top club in NOVA over recent years anyways. |
| Tophat to ECNL!!! |
This would be the only way to make homegrown work for all youth players. If not players would have to join a league that controls all the paperwork before playing as a homegrown player. It would get messy if there were multiple leagues and multiple contracts. |
Confirmed. |
Do you sit and study all youth soccer clubs across the country to know who they are? Never heard of them? lol. Nerd. |
| Tulsa SC is losing ECNL |
PDA didn't lose a badge. They still have 3. |
| There's 2 maybe 3 new GA clubs likely to be announced in Socal |
Maybe their boys side will go MLSN……….currently In ECNLB |
They have 2 now …PDA South lost their badge |
PDA south is no longer in ECNL. They were moved to RL. So yes that's losing a badge. |
