Older neighbors

Why do all of my older neighbors stay home all weekend? They never go anywhere, is this what happens when you get older? Or is this just them? I think they are all 50+, if I had to guess.

If they’re retired they made weekdays their “weekends” and do their shopping and errands when the stores aren’t so
Crowded.

Why do my younger neighbors spend their whole weekend watching us and what we’re doing?

I’m an older neighbor. We don’t have to go out on weekends and deal with the likes of you and your brats. We come out when you’re stuck working and your little monsters are in school. It’s wonderful.

I’m late 40’s and my weekends are overrun with soccer tournaments, track meets, bday parties, shopping for prom dresses, trips to multiple grocery stores, etc. My kids will have moved out by my early 50s. I can’t wait to be one of those folks who never leaves the house on the weekend!!

what a weird question.

Do you mean the 50+ with kids running around all weekend driving kids to activities?

Or the 70+ who are retired and whose kids have left?

It’s too crowded on weekends to go out. I’d rather go out during the weekday when it’s peaceful.

Take your meds, grandma. Maybe your kids will want to visit you again someday.

Sorry, I have kids and do the run-around, and I'm with Grandma. She's right.

Pretty lame retort.

We are in the house because we are smoking pot and having sex while you are running errands and going to sports.
