It would be illegal to discuss this with students until 6th grade.

| And the number of girls having their first periods in 4th and 5th grade are supposed to just bleed all over the hallways? |
| I got mine at the end of 9th. |
More Florida being Florida. The bills and laws coming out of that state over the last year have been...special. |
Who cares! And what is also amazing and shocking is that the idiot politician proposing the law agrees that it outlaws girls from talking about their periods. |
That’s cool I got mine when I was 10 |
| I don’t understand how restricting speech is going to fly. |
| I don't understand this bill...are the Christian conservatives mad because every girl's period represents a new life that she could have created but didn't? |
It is about control. |
The GOP is fascist now and supports (or will support) all their bonkers ideas and plans. |
|
How the heck is this not going viral.
Are even Republicans OK with this? |
| Oh gawd |
Conservatives want to suppress talking about it because it’s related to reproduction and uh-oh! Can’t talk about that! Need to pretend that children come from the stork until children are adults. Unless they get married before 18, a practice that which conservatives do not want banned. Next they’ll seek to ban pregnant women from the classroom like they used to. My grandma lost her teaching job in the late 1950s because she was pregnant. She was married, but school didn’t want first graders to ask about her pregnancy so her growing belly was seen as a threat. |
+1 This legitimately seems like the direction they want the country headed towards. |
| No republicans chiming in about how reasonable this is? No what abouts? Is there actually a policy that is so absurd that no one will defend it? |
