| In another thread someone mentioned that, given the new HOS’s relationship with Whittle, Maret was taking in former whittle students? Does anyone know if this is true? If so, what grades did that impact? |
| No, not true. |
N Completely false. |
Just as an outside observer here, and maybe I’m not understanding the point of your question, but really?? The students of Whittle were “infected” by attending Whittle and should not be admitted to Maret or other area private schools, lest those prestigious communities should be sullied by their presence? |
I tried to look for this to see what was said, but don’t see another thread like that. Did it get deleted? |
Not at all. But it's not a reason to favor them in the process either. You shouldn't get preferential treatment just because your parents were believing in an obvious scam until the bitter end. |
I looked back for the thread too and could not find it. It was active yesterday. There was a post that used the new HOS’s name in the thread, so I assumed maybe it was deleted because it named someone specific. |
No it was the Maret troll poster. Think it was the same person who was upset about getting fired or something. The old HOS is still in place and the new HOS does not take over till next year. |
I I just reread what I wrote a few times and I’m pretty confident I didn’t suggest they should get preferential treatment. |
They didn’t learn anything under the new HoS head and his wife while they were at Whittle. They are not infectious, just unqualified |
There were Whittle transfers. |
So you know all of these kids? Remarkable. Will Maret students be equally unqualified once this person becomes their HOS? Acc to you, that would be the assumption. |
| Neither my kids nor my spouse nor I am aware of a single Whittle transfer. |
| Well I know a former Whittle kid that got accepted to Sidwell and GDS this year. |
| That was one of the more bizarre conspiracy theories on this site. Someone realty fixated on it for a while and it doesn’t seem to have played out as they had suggested. |
