I can’t. You let your kids go to beach week but want them to sign a contact you think they will obey?
What a laugh |
| ^. You have kid is disrespectful and doesn't follow the rules? What a laugh. |
Kids going to beach week will be leaving for college two months or less later. If you can't give your child some freedom, with limits, eight weeks before they leave for college then you did something wrong. |
|
My contract:
Don't do stupid shlt. Don't get drunk Don't do drugs Don't drink and drive if you do get drunk Don't abuse the rental house; it's coming out of your checking account if you do. Don't f*up your chances at college just for fun for that week -love mom |
Our group - which included parents of older kids so were realistic about the drinking - added that at least one kid had to be completely sober at all times. Also 2 parents stayed nearby and they had to be ready for unexpected visits but also knew they could call if there were any issues, no questions asked. And they were all responsible for damage - so they were actually careful. |
What lame kid will follow all of your rules at beach week? |
+1000 And if you don't trust them to make good decisions they should not be going. A contract LOL that is absurd. |
No I trust my kids or they would not have gone. Why in the world would one need a contract most of them are 18. They are legal adults they do something stupid that is their problem. Your kid is never going to make good decisions |
|
This is what you do.
No kid has a car. You drive them to the destination and someone picks them up. That stops a ton of stupidity. As for alcohol most of them drink. If they are stupid enough to drink outside of their accommodations that is on them. Same with alcohol poisoning if that happens they are not ready to be in college in the fall. |
LOL good one. |

Sad thing is that once your daughter has that first drink in the company of a bunch of friends, she’s a target for assault. But you delude yourself into believing, my kid can handle it. Make sure you at least encourage your daughter to call 911 if she’s raped or assaulted in any way by acquaintance or stranger. |

No permanent mistakes:
1) No arrests 2) No pregnancy and/or STD 3) No addiction 4) No tattoos |
| Either you trust them or you don't. If you trust them, you don't need a contract. If you don't, its not worth the paper its written on. |
| Lmao don’t get drunk at beach week… |
