Mine is appr. $2800 after taxes and I assure you that I can easily survive.

I’m doing it on $9K. It’s tight and I live paycheck to paycheck. I am getting a second job. Housing/food/insurance are currently the most expensive. Next year education will be too. Thank goodness I’m done paying for childcare.

Adding, I do contribute the max to Tsp and I don’t take vacations or go to restaurants.
