The point of an anonymous forum is to politely ask a diverse audience things you're curious about, which may be difficult to discuss in real life, especially if you don't have a very diverse network. It is not so some webmaster can come casually expose you when he wants for his own daily content and cyberbully you as a liar and troll. Do better.

I read the write up and didn't see any cyber - bullying by Jeff. I think you may have been seeing what you want to see rather than what was actually said.

OP, if you're worried about all the flack you received in answer to a very sensitive issue, one that is BOUND to attract all the racist crazies on one side, plus the multi-ethnic posters on the other who think this is no big deal (me included), then don't be worried. No one can identify you from your post. You are not humiliated or attacked in real life.

You need a thick-skin to post on internet message boards. DCUM will give you tough love, informed and acerbic commentary, a few trolls... but it will never be boring.

No, I am not going to remove the thread. At least not now. I just took the time and effort to read enough of it to write a summary which I just posted. That might lead others to want to read it and I don't want my efforts to be for nothing. I haven't mocked you and I am not gaslighting you. The fact that you are making such allegations is further justification for leaving the thread so that readers can judge my summary for themselves.
