Just Got Fired

Anonymous
To my shock J2 just fired me. I was shocking as I was spending most of my time on J2. Was planning on quitting J1 March 1.

Strange run. I even got a raise at J2 three weeks ago!!

I am no longer over employed!! Not shocked in one way. I had a staff member not performing and boom HR said send email and we will fire him, no PIP no nothing. A zoom call and gone. I actually was only thinking PIP. First clue don’t work at company your boss can fire no reason at anytime.

Then they did same to me. What scares me is they toss people so easy. They also hire easy. Thank God I kept my BS old job.

I honestly think two jobs led a bit to my decline. But this was wrong fit. He kept using term working manager. And my boss would work 12-13 hours a day which annoyed me. He expects managers to do 8 hours work every day then meetings and admin on top. I was on line 730 to 630 every day and somehow boss was on even more.

Oh well a failed experiment. Anyone need a new employee? Kinda relieved.

What's J2?

No, don't need an employee who already has a "BS old job"

Job #2, as opposed to job #1

I think J1 is Job One and J2 is Job Two. So... I dunno if this person was double-dipping and "teleworking" at one of the jobs or both jobs or what. Sounds odd, and definitely not someone I'd hire intentionally.

This is such a weird post. You had 2 jobs and got fired from one? Cool story bro...

OP has a bunch of posts detailing what he was doing; IIRC, there was quite a bit of sleeping on both jobs.

I've always wondered, can you file unemployment if you are fired/laid off from J2?

How do you all not remember this story?! I think it was a big post just a week ago about people working 2 jobs. Normally dcum has a better memory

+1 Maybe they found out about J2. Maybe your jobs were interfering with each other.

Why are you shocked at being fired? First of all, corporations are unfeeling entities. They don't care about your feelings or even your life. Secondly, if your Job#1 is a BS job, maybe they will find out about your J2 and fire you, too.

Maybe you ought to think about why they fired you and why you stay at a BS job?

It depends on how much money OP is making on Job 1. This will vary by state. It is worthwhile filing and let the state reject the claim.

No way. That’s a good way to get busted for fraud and have J1 get a notification.

Not you again. Your writing style is really distinctive. We DON’T care about you and your multiple jobs. The minutiae of your pointless posts are killing me.
