FCV parents - has anyone heard anything?

Call Bobby, not Christian. Most, if not all of that team is staying together so it is the strongest 05 in Northern VA.

What is the word on the younger levels at FCV from 06 and below? I could see the older teams staying together and younger girls wanting to go to ECNL and reestablish themselves now.

The younger girls have time to see how all the leagues shake out, so probably no need to move. They can change during their rising sophomore year if they think it is necessary. Given the current environment and that we might not see anything until next spring that resembles normal soccer events, I’m not sure that there will be many shifts.

FCV did have a scrimmage against Bethesda ECNL teams over the winter, and either won or tied across all age groups-FCV DA 05 did particularly well against a strong Bethesda 05 team. Northeast conference much stronger than mid-Atlantic conference by far also!

Same with MD United and Baltimore Celtic. The only teams that will play Bobby and his gals are Maryland, VA Boys or Georgia teams in scrimmages. VA ECNL run and hide.

FCV will destroy everyone in their league and feel good about it. However, I rather be .500 vs good competition vs undefeated against weak competition.

The 100 percent acceptance rate is great for the club.
