NCS’ 29 lax class is stacked with capital blue. I think 5 cap blue and 1-2 cap orange. Their lacrosse futures look bright for high academics DI-III.

Stacked? How many?

I added 5 + 1 (6) and 5 + 2 (7). So there are approximately 6-7 cap players in the NCS freshman class. There are one to two other competitive clubs as well.

NCS will overtake Holton in 2 years. They don’t have any strength below the junior class save for one or two girls.

Be careful. It only takes one or two players to make a difference.

Bigger, faster, stronger.....

How does this NCS person know who is and isn’t at Holton? Lol We see you

DP. In fairness most of us know who is where and doing what for the class, mainly privates. DD has played with girls from many different schools over the years and you tend to track who is where for club and us. I’m unaffiliated with either, but I know who the “29 NCS class is and they are a talented group of girls. Regardless of division, they will be fun to watch and mature.

Enough with the NCS '29 class. I do hope they mature because they have a lot of catching up to do with the other talent in their class.

Yes! GC LOST to STAB

STAB should have won by more than one goal with how poorly GC played the first half. They must have taken 20 shots in a row and missed them all their first possession. STAB defense did a good job stopping GC top player. A few questionable calls from the refs, giving STAB valuable possessions the 4th quarter. STAB stepped up and played great, too bad GC did not.

9-8 Win against Loyola Academy- Saints should have been ahead by a lot but shots were bad and Loyola Goalie was having a day.

Apparently not a whole day since SJC scored 14 against them?

I was impressed with that Loyola team, 9-10 college recruits, a couple Michigan, Clemson, Notre Dame, Navy, and they play hard and goalie was very good in the SSSAS game. SSSAS was just too deep with a lot of talented players at each position.

The SR-GC game was a good one. 11-11 with 11 minutes in the game, GC ran out to a lead and controlled first part of game, SR controlled the middle, and the last quarter came down to GBs on the draw. There was a critical possession in Q4 where GC was up a couple, SR got a stop, and had an unfortunate TO leading to an immediate GC goal. SR couldn’t recover, had to press, left middle wide open for multiple easy dunks, but it was a much closer game than final score and could have gone either way. Very physical as well, which makes officiating unpredictable depending on their willingness (or not) to treat it closer to college level. It’s also not a shock that STAB beat GC, they have enough good players, an excellent coach, and it’s the second full game (and no shot click) on a warm day. That’s why the game is played…

Because they wanted to get their bench some playing time. If they played GC they would have won by 6+, but bench probably wouldn't get in.

The coach does not care at all about the bench players so this is definitely not the reason.

This is one of the year's biggest upsets. Is there a site listing all Saturday's scores?

Although I am unsure where to find the results, the results mentioned here are certainly interesting. There may be a connection worth examining between the duration of breaks between games (refer to the list below) and their impact on performance. Good Counsel was the only team with a two-game break between games, yet they delivered what could be considered the day's worst result. While I initially thought a two-game break would be ideal, perhaps it actually allowed too much time to cool down, making it harder for players to warm back up after the stiffness set in. Back-to-back is definitely not optimal, so the one-game break may have been the sweet spot.

Back-to-back games:
Stone Ridge
Visitation
NCS

One-game break between games:
SSSAS
Paul VI
Loyola
Norfolk Academy
Collegiate
STAB

Two-game break between games:
Good Counsel
