STA going to come out of this with a lot of injuries. 6 varsity games in 2 days is too much for a thin squad.

I am confused about the IAC and WCAC rules.
I have heard that IAC cannot practice in the offseason and that the league permits one competition day.
On the other hand, the WCAC doesn’t have rules and can practice and play year around.
Can someone post the out of season rules for the IAC and WCAC?

WCAC officially starts Jan 20th.

Players can lift and do skills all year round if they want. Voluntarily workouts.

Do you really think that the IAC teams playing in these fall tournaments aren’t practicing? Please.

Heeter thinks coaching a HS program is the same as running his Next Level Club teams.... it's not.

These scrimmages, not games, are ~45 minutes of running time. Think they'll survive.

"Survive" is the right term. It's certainly not "prosper." Why put your 10 good players through the grinder like that?

There is nothing voluntary about the out-of-season program at SJC. Kids show up before school and stay after school for more sessions. If you don't participate, you don't play. One, because it's not voluntary and two, you just won't be as good as the other players Speaks recruited. The school doesn't have any 2 sport athletes to speak of so and their coaches work at the school so it can be enforced.

At GZ, the coaches aren't there so the program is far less strict. In the IAC, there just aren't enough bodies to run a practice because most of the other kids play a 2nd sport or even a 3rd. In the winter, a few more are available but then the elements get in the way of any organized workouts.

I want the rules. Where can I find them?

SSSAS Ince makes his first stumble right away by doing his old coach a favor by playing in his event rather than exposing his school and team to a much more relevant NHSLS.

The parents at GP should be scratching their heads over this too.

Contact your school's AD. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to forward for your review and oversight.
