I have always been around 107 lbs, until some four years ago when I went up to 125 and then down to 118 lbs. I can be down to 115 and not over 120 lbs.
AMA, if you want, maybe you don't care, that's ok too. |
Have you ever counted calories?
Have you ever tried to lose weight? If so, how did you go about it? Did anyone ever mention your weight to you? |
Yes, I tried counting calories with my fitness pal, which was synced to my Fitbit, in 2020 when I was taking long walks, like fast walks. I wouldn't say I liked it. I realize that if I walk over 15 steps per day, I do not need to count anything. That was when I was trying to lose a few lbs. I gave it up within a couple of months. I tried to lose weight after I gave birth to my second child; well, about a year later, most of the weight I gained after she was born, and I was so hungry. I lost nothing until I started doing yoga and walking on the treadmill, which did not work apart from toning me and making muscles and best flat tummy, so I did Atkins for a month or so. That work went down to 107 pretty fast. Yes, people mention my weight a lot, more so when I was below 110 lbs. Mainly in the context of how I can eat anything I want and how lucky I am. |
I used to be like you. Then I hit 40 and it all went to hell 😀
Does anyone think you look too thin? |
I'm 52, 5', and 113 lbs. I recently lost 5lbs.
In my 20s I was 93lbs In my 30s before kids I was 106lb My heaviest I was 127lbs, and not when I was pregnant. I don't count calories but I do try to limit really fattening food and move more. This was key for me. |
Is this a humble brag? Good for you? I don't know how this helps anyone but you. |
Have you had a dexa (bone density) scan?
Are you menopausal? Are you fair skinned? Asian? Where am I going with this? I’m 53, fair-skinned with German Irish heritage, osteopenia at 45. Menopause and osteoporosis at 49. Taken fosamax for 2 years. It’s helping. |
Do you enjoy standing on your cliff of good genetics, looking down upon those with cankles? |
You have the option to not read a thread if you don't want to. -Not OP. |
54, 5'7.5", 117#.
I run a lot. I am scared of bone density loss. I also don't want to buy a whole new wardrobe so I stay in my weight zone. |
Tell me what you eat on the days you go little overboard. |
Please talk to your doctor about bone issues density as you age. |
You think you’re hot stuff, huh OP? |
Not OP. How did you know you moved from osteopenia to osteoporosis? Another dexa scan? Or did you have symptoms? Asking because I'm 52 have had osteopenia for several years. 5'2" 120lbs give or take a few. Irish/English heritage, fair skinned. Mom has osteoporosis. I haven't had a dexa scan in years. |
Se said ask me anything. You can skip my comment too. |
