Are you overweight or slender? Why are you on Diet and Exercise?

Does anyone think you look too thin?

Everyone did when I was under 110 lbs and younger. Now I don't think so.

AMA, if you want, maybe you don't care, that's ok too.

Is this a humble brag? Good for you? I don't know how this helps anyone but you.

Hence ask if you want part of my post.

Are you menopausal?

Are you fair skinned? Asian?

Where am I going with this? I’m 53, fair-skinned with German Irish heritage, osteopenia at 45. Menopause and osteoporosis at 49. Taken fosamax for 2 years. It’s helping.

No.
Yes, kind of; my period are sometimes 2,3 months apart. Having one now and it is a real and regular period. I take Black Cohosh for it.

I am very fair-skinned(a say very since I am really annoyingly feta cheese-like skinned), with brown eyes and hair. Not Asian, central European/Balkan, and Slavic descent. I do have some narrowing of the space between the vertebra in my neck(possibly the beginning of stenosis) I was very active for a long time, less so now due to neck pain, literally, lol! I have had migraines since childhood, I take meds for that. I think that helped me gain some weight. At this age, 118 lbs, I think, makes me look better in the face than 107 bs.

Gosh, I go overboard a lot. Something a whole tart cherry pie that I make. I can't stop, as in I have no control. Also, I will overeat beef dishes like the Swiss bliss with potatoes and have four instead of two portions. I can eat half a roasted chicken for dinner. I have a very large appetite and have to curb it now, not before, with some IF.

I should do that, as I have some neck pain issues, and I know why and tried to treat it in 2020.

I am pretty hot, in my opinion for my age. Never had stretch marks, have two kids, very toned even now, but my face is my best feature since I gained a bit of weight.

Not often; I work a lot. On a short trip now.

Or do you think small and petite is cute (especially at age 52)?

Yes, I have a total height complex. I am from a relatively tall culture. All my maids of honor were taller than me and with heels, looked taller than DH who is 6'.

Not even close. I have a nice bottom, not as nice as at 40, but very nice round one.

What advice would you give to the moderately overweight (not obese) person who wants to be healthier?

Well, I used to care about it more due to some issues in my childhood when I was considered somewhat chubby. I was not; I just did not stick skinny like other kids were and I have a round face so it gave the impression of being chubby. I cared a lot more, but having said that I always thought I eat a lot, but somehow did not really gain weight. Having said that, I was very physically active too.
For advice, well, not sure; eat cabbage and veggies a ton and eat more carbs in the morning. That was my way of eating forever, and a light supper, but with work and all, it is not easy to follow that as much as I would like to.
Now I skip breakfast during the work week, which goes against every fiber in my belief system, but things and patterns of eating change as we age.

None. One kid went to a private sports academy that had a school too, the other public. Prior to HS they were in a private(international) British school, not here.
