Waiting is hard

Not going to lie. February is going to be a long month!

We were in the same place this time last year. Hang in there! Keep in mind that different schools release results at different times that first Friday in March. We started hearing from schools mid-morning and the last school notified around 5:15pm.

I thought they weren't supposed to release until 4 pm?

I dunno. We heard earlier than that from a few places.

We recently received an invite from a school and I want to read into it even though it was probably sent to all applicants. I’m sure I’ll be looking for any signs of hope until the decision date. I’m preparing myself for the worst though, even if I’m hoping for the best.

Which school? We haven’t gotten anything.

I was you this time last year. Waiting stinks! Good luck to all of you.

Now is a good time to sign up for the mediocre but better-than-nothing "Informed Delivery" from USPS. It may or may not give you a window into your mail flow a day or two in advance. Similarly, some schools UPS or FedEx swag as part of the welcome. Sign up for both of those services as well.

Of course, we found out the old fashioned way....Ravenna at like 3:30pm.

Waiting is very hard. Just keep reminding yourself for most of February the decisions are not yet made.

We have heard nothing so hopefully you're having better luck. Wishing for the best for you.

We got one too but it was to an event that was not aligned with my kid’s interests so who knows?

It is so hard. Right there with you!

Application season is not even complete yet. The schools are not even making decisions for another three or four weeks. Hang in there. Don't worry about it.
