I am committing to this style of eating for multiple reasons. I respond very very well to it, I feel fantastic on it, it feels easy to me, there is significant research into the health benefits, and a few other reasons.
However, I would love to use an app to track this for me. Does anyone have an app they use that is simple? I don't need to anything complicated, but like the idea of seeing my eating timespan, etc. and think it will help me keep track. I realize I probably have to pay for a good one, but really prefer something basic. |
I use MyFitnessPal for tracking calories and recently saw a notification pop up that it now offers intermittent fasting tracking. It is part of the paid option, but I think you could try it for free temporarily?
I don't have direct experience with this, but have been happy with general MyFitnessPal. |
I use Zero. It is by far the simplest IF app there is, in my opinion. |
I use Zero and dont pay anything, although I think there's a fancier version. This is just like a timer, though it has some tips and stuff.
I started IF a while ago--its really just skipping breakfast, which really didn't change much for me as I rarely ate much anyway, usually just had a cappuccino. Now I try 11:30 or noon to about 7:30. WHat's really helped is that I stop eating at night, which is not good for my sleep or my stomach. Whenever dinner is done, I am done. |
Fastic App is a good one. |
I use "Fasting Tracker" which is simple and does the trick. |
thank you all! |
The only app I have needed is the clock. Look at the time of your last meal, add 16 hours then eat. |
I wish it was that simple but with my hectic life it keeps me in check and creates a history and you can see your progress of weight loss and that very motivating. Also gives tip to succeed with IF. I appreciate an app. |
