Daughter admitted to honors college! (1500+ SAT / 4.3+ GPA). Grand total 4k scholarship but we were hoping for more. Anyone know if there will be more scholarships offered at a later time? Daughter said she might pick GMU over all the other schools if she gets a full ride or close to it

(1) Honors college? (2) Merit aid? |

1. Honors college I think everyone who writes the essay gets in 2. Merit aid: Most people got the 4k merit aid but I wonder if there will be more later |

So, you don't think there is a GPA requirement or SAT benchmark for either Honors or for merit aid? |

That is definitely not true. My son didn't get in and neither did several other friends of his who applied. All wrote the essay. |
