| In my opinion battle field losses and international sanctions aren’t enough. For Russia to stop the war it has to experience a strong nationwide opposition to the was and Russian citizens should demand an immediate end to this war. It will only happen if Russians experience disruption to their supply of water, heat, and electricity for sustainable period of time, just like the Ukrainians are experiencing thanks to Russia’s bombing on infrastructure and residential buildings. |

The ruble is strengthening vs other currencies. Russia is still getting lots of money from energy despite the sanctions and having to sell at a discount, because Biden and Europe are restricting their own energy production. 20 years ago, Europe produced more energy than Russia. |
